JOIN the BLESSED SACRAMENT CHOIR and SING! The Choir is back, and we welcome those interested in singing at the 12:30 Sunday mass to join us. The Choir rehearses on Sundays at 10:30AM before the mass. Please contact our Director of Music, Dr. Gregory D'Agostino, in the church office for further information. Come join our friendly group and together let us raise our voices and sing praise to the Lord.
BAPTISM On Sunday, September 21 we had the sacrament of Baptism. We welcome the following children who have been baptized into the Christian family here at Blessed Sacrament in recent weeks: Landon John Buccino, Abigail Elizabeth Berger, Sophie Claire Brinas, Scarlett Irene Formidoni, Brooklyn Rose Price, Masimo Demetrios Vautsas and Logan Thomas Elias. May you be the best of teachers of your children in the ways of Faith by what you say and do.

This Thursday meditation group welcomes old and new members. We meet every week at 5:30 p.m. in the Rectory. We are following the teachings of Dom John Main, OSB and Father Laurence Freeman, OSB, Director of the World Community for Christian Meditation. HANDCRAFTING JUSTICE (HCJ) will be coming to share its mission with the parishioners of Blessed Sacrament Church on Sat. & Sunday, Oct. 4 & 5. This fair trade economic justice project of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd will be selling fair trade handcrafts made by women in 20 countries throughout the developing world.
GOSPEL IN MUSIC-MARY, MOTHER OF GOD Saturday October 18, 2014 2pm-3:30pm at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral (50th Street and 5th Avenue). Join the St. Patrick's Cathedral Young Adults as Fr. Bob Bubel and members of the St. Patrick’s Cathedral Choir guide us through reflections and sacred music centered on Mary, our Blessed Mother. Admission is free and the concert will take place on the main altar.
