Sacraments

Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on Saturday afternoons from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM in the Church.  At other times, please contact a priest by calling the Rectory at 212-877-3111.

Baptism
Baptism for infants takes place on the third Sunday of each month.  Arrangements for Baptism must be made at the Rectory at least two weeks in advance.  Sponsors must be practicing Catholics.  Parents must meet with the priest for a conference before the Baptism.  Please contact the Rectory at 212-877-3111 to make arrangements.

Marriage
Arrangements for the Sacrament of Marriage should be made at the Rectory at least six months in advance in order to ensure the availability of the desired date and the hour.  The Nuptial Mass is the ordinary form of celebrating Christian marriage and should be strongly considered when making wedding plans.

The Archdiocese of New York requires that, prior to the wedding date, couples participate in an Archdiocesan preparation program, referred to as the Pre-Cana Conference, or its equivalent. Please contact the Rectory at 212-877-3111 to make arrangements.

Anointing of the Sick
Anointing of the Sick was once called Extreme Unction or the Sacrament of the Dying. The sacrament now is an anointing and a blessing that offers the grace to overcome frailties and the strength, peace and courage to overcome the difficulties of serious illness. If you or a loved one would benefit from this Sacrament, please call the Rectory at 212-877-3111.
